Ich fand das Muster immer ein wenig altbacken und war etwas enttäuscht, als ich es im Monat April beim Quilt-along gesehen hatte. Ich hätte nie gedacht, dass ich mal so einen Dresdenteller versuchen würde. Nun es hat ja auch bis Mai gedauert. Die Anleitung war wie immer sehr gut und ich kam recht schnell voran.

I didn´t like Dresden Plate at all. So oldfashioned! So I was a little disappointed that it should be the block of April. I never thought that I will sew that.  Yes and it takes until May I started. The tutorial (in german but with a lot of pictures ) was perfect as always.

Kette nähen klappt.  I sew on the chain – it works.

Die Spannung steigt, wird der Teller sich flach auflegen? Exciting … will it lay flat?

Das tut er schon, aber upps….. Fehler lassen oder verbessern??? Yes it did …. but oh no!!  ….. do you see the mistake. So sew it again or not?

Seufz, natürlich verbessern.  Sure … I will correct it.

So könnte die Mitte aussehen. Endlich wieder applizieren mit der Hand. Lange nicht mehr gemacht :-)

This would be a good center circle I think. Finally back again to hand appliquée.  I love this part.

Ach ja, der Mai war ein Dutchman´s Puzzle. Sehr schnell gemacht und ohne Widerstand.
